BURLINGTON, ON, CANADA, December 29, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Terry Crawford, Director of El-Con Construction, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in project management.

Presently Terry is Leading El-Con Construction and overseeing the growth of El-Con's utility construction and U/G cable locating businesses. He is responsible for business development, business contracts, Health and Safety, process enhancement, daily operations and maintenance
Terry has over 33 years of experience within in the utility industry. Beginning his career in 1976 as an apprentice tradesman (power lineman), he gained valuable field experience that lead to a managerial position. He became one of the first employees of what is now Blink Communications in 1998, bringing his expertise in all facets of project management, including estimating, scheduling, budgeting and value engineering to the telecommunications company. Terry advanced his career to the Director position being instrumental in implementing Blink's Fibre Asset Management System, assisting with mergers & acquisitions and helping to grow the company's assets across the GTA. As of June of 2011, Terry accepted the position of Director of Operations at El-Con Construction an affiliate company of Oakville Hydro Services Inc.

Recognized for his hands-on, results-oriented approach, he has lead his Facilities group to be particularly adept at identifying the drivers of each individual project, balancing budgetary and scheduling objectives along with the quality that the client is expecting.

Mr. Crawford completed coursework in business at the Queens School of Business. In the near future, he hopes to grow El-Con into a profitable business.
