Lisa Hunter Honored for Excellence in Senior Management and Marketing

Ms. Hunter is a senior management executive with an extensive track record of leadership, bottom-line impact and innovative thinking for the industrial, manufacturing, distribution, government and nonprofit sectors. For more than two decades, she has refined her skills in public speaking, operations, mergers and acquisitions, and distribution, which has enabled her to be well-positioned in all areas of general management. Now the chief executive officer of her own marketing and management consultancy, Ms. Hunter previously worked for General Electric. Whilst working for the company, she achieved an executive-level position as Vice President of Business Development. By utilizing skills that she had garnered over many years, she was tasked with running the operations of multimillion-dollar business units — an assignment which Ms. Hunter fulfilled with impeccable professionalism.

Determined, optimistic and dedicated, Ms. Hunter worked with GE in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. The experience prompted her to make a career change to the nonprofit sector to gain additional perspective and experience. She subsequently formed her own consulting business. Additionally, Ms. Hunter arranges public speaking engagements and works with clients and stakeholders to ensure that they are satisfied with the company's services.

A graduate of Sam Houston University, Ms. Hunter earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1985. She also attended Texas A&M University for a time. Looking forward, Ms. Hunter intends to obtain a position with a stable company that will enable her to employ her repertoire of expertise while also growing professionally and personally.
